
We love going to Ritz! The food is so fun and creative. We especially love the Cajun fries and fruity pebble ice cream. The eating area with the pink booths is super cute!

Our story started back in the 1920s with our great-grandfather, Verne McCullough. He was a renowned defense lawyer in Utah, but spent much of his time outside of the courtroom promoting wrestling matches - that is if he wasn't in one himself! In 1928, he opened what would be the beginning of the Ritz Classic legacy, the McCullough Arena. After hosting countless professional wrestling and boxing matches in the arena, he expanded by opening two state-of-the-art bowling centers in Ogden and Salt Lake. Near the end of his life in the 1970s, half of the Ritz Classic bowling lanes were destroyed in a fire. Our family struggled through some tough decisions, but eventually landed on converting the burned lanes to a roller skating rink.
