Man, this park has really been on a roller coaster ride in the last decade. On the one hand, it did get that facelift a while back that helped spruce it up. They host the farmers market here....

Not from here and was going to take my daughter to the park. Yikes! Stay far away... it's saturated with homeless people everywhere. Not safe or clean.

This is the perfect place to go for hot girl walks downtown. Lots of space and shade for picnics as well.

Can't speak for this park apart from the one Saturday I happened across the market. I was impressed with the variety of vendors and nice atmosphere. Even enjoyed a freshly made limeade in the sun :)

Great place to get some exercise, or take your dog. Be aware that homeless people may start to collect there in the late afternoon, so not always family friendly.
