John Fang M.D., is the Division Chief and Professor Medicine of the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the University of Utah Hospital and Huntsman Cancer Institute. His clinical and research interests include Barrett's Esophagus, Enteral Nutrition, Esophageal Diseases, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), and Therapeutic Endoscopy. He is currently the vice-chair of the Ambulatory Endoscopy Centers Special interest group for the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and has served on numerous committees for the American Gastroenterological Association and American College of Gastroenterology.
