Oak Hills Land Surveying

History

Oak Hills Surveying Associates LC opened for business in 1997 as a small home owned busiess. Its primary emphasis was on private property rights and boundary location and conflict resolution. The speciality skills were in the location of section corner monuments and subdivision work within the public land survey system (PLSS). As the reputation for quality work spread throughout the state, the scope of services expanded to include topographic surveys, A.L.T.A. surveys, water rights, mineral surveys, and annexations. Additional employees were added and the number of Professional Land Surveyors continued increased. In the Spring of 2009 the company was purchased by Kevin Bishop and Scott Peterson, two long time employees. Projects have included numerous rural/mountainous surveys and subdivisions, federal, state, county and city survey projects and both private and commercial development projects.

Specialties

We are a full service land surveying company with services including boundary surveys and boundary conflict resolution, A.L.T.A. surveys, water rights, mineral surveys, preparation of easements and rights-of-way, subdivisions, annexations, expert witness for boundary location and survey proceedures, PLSS, and consulting. There is no survey too big or too small. We work with private land owners with property abutting the Federal Government.
