Born and raised in a medical family in Southern California, I was interested in family medicine from an early age. I obtained my bachelor’s degree from UC Davis and my medical degree from The Ohio State University. I completed my Family Medicine residency at Long Beach Memorial, where I was lucky to work in a diverse city and see patients of all ages and backgrounds. Following this, I worked in a rural farming community in Central Valley of California. I am thrilled to be joining University of Utah. Dr. Berbert, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician who practices at the Centerville clinic. She was born in Hawaii and then moved to Centerville, Utah. She majored in neuroscience at Brigham Young University and then attended medical school at the University of Utah. She completed her family medicine residency in the Seattle area at Valley Family Medicine, where she was a Chief Resident her last year.
