Michael A. Zimmerman, MD, is a transplant and hepatobiliary surgeon specializing in liver, kidney, and pancreas transplantation. His interests include clinical outcomes in solid organ abdominal transplant, and mitigating preservation and reperfusion injury in translational research. Dr. Zimmerman received his MD from the University of California at San Francisco and completed his residency at the University of Colorado.
