Matthew T. Rondina

Katherine Hastings, MD is a board-certified family medicine physician with special interest in the care of adolescents and young adults. She studied philosophy at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, attended Georgetown University School of Medicine, and completed her residency training here at the University of Utah, where she was a chief medical resident. She currently practices at the Madsen Health Center and teaches medical students during their Family Medicine Clerkship. Her professional interests include women's health and pediatric care, birth control management, mental health, stress management and eating disorder management. Megan Puckett, MD is an Associate Professor and geriatrician at the University of Utah. She is a native Nebraskan who graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine and continued her training in Internal Medicine at the University of Utah. There, she discovered her passion for caring for older adults and as a result, went on to complete a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine. She is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. Dr. Puckett’s current outpatient primary care practice is at Madsen Geriatrics Clinic at the University of Utah. She has a particular clinical interest in fall evaluations, polypharmacy reduction, and end-of-life care. She is also the Director for the Inpatient Geriatrics Consult service at the University Hospital. Her academic interests include geriatric medical education and systems quality improvement to provide age-friendly-care. She enjoys gardening, paddleboarding, backpacking, and hiking around the beautiful state of Utah.

Dr. Jennifer Trauscht-Van Horn is committed to providing excellent care and her active role in various professional capacities highlights her dedication to advancing women’s health. As a distinguished women’s health provider in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr Van Horn specializes in obstetrics, contraception, and infectious diseases, with a particular focus on HIV. She is currently accepting new obstetric patients. Her practice is closed to new gynecology patients. Please call to schedule an appointment or for more information. Dr. Van Horn attended Amherst College, earning her Bachelor of Arts in English and Music. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Utah. Her extensive training includes an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Vermont Department of Medicine. Throughout her career, Dr. Van Horn has held multiple leadership positions. Dr. Van Horn is currently the Medical Director of both Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Mdsen’s Women’s Health Clinic. She has been a member of the University of Utah Healthcare ethics committee, served on the board of the University of Utah Medical Group, and is the obstetrics and gynecology ambulatory Chief Value Officer. She served as Medical Director of Planned Parenthood of Utah for 20 years and is the clinical supervisor for the Salt Lake City Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners.
