History

Larry Pederson, owner and founder, started Larry's Towing in 1977. At the time, Larry owned a Husky service station in Orem, where he operated a repair shop. He purchased a tow truck to tow disabled vehicles into his repair shop. Other local shops were also in need of a dependable and honest towing service, and soon Larry's time was spent towing to other shops in the Orem and Provo area. Larry loved towing and decided to sell the service station and tow full time. Larry's Towing has grown from 1 truck in 1977 to 15 trucks in 2010. Our equipment ranges from light duty flatbeds to heavy duty 60 ton wreckers, and includes 4 wheel drive wreckers, off-road recovery vehicles, a tractor and Landoll trailer, medium duty tow trucks, reefer trailers, and several other heavy duty tow trucks.
