Roger A. Freedman, M.D., has been a faculty member at the University of Utah for over 30 years. He specializes in treating cardiac arrhythmias, particularly in the implantation and management of pacemakers and defibrillators. Dr. Thompson is a burn and trauma surgeon by training. She specializes in the care of the thermally injured patient and other skin and soft tissue diseases that require surgical intervention. Her research is focused on implementing changes to care delivery that improve patient-centered outcomes and engaging burn patients as equitable partners in the entire research process.

Dr. Alan Jacobsen MB. BCh. BAO. is an Assistant Professor at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Galway, Ireland. He completed a combined Medical/Surgical internship at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, Dublin, Ireland and basic specialty training in General Internal Medicine at University Hospital Galway, Ireland.
