The Marriott Center is named after its primary benefactor, J. Willard Marriott, founder of the Marriott Corporation hotels. Finished in 1971, the Marriott Center is used not only for basketball games, but also for devotionals, forums, firesides, dance performances, major concerts, community activities, and commencement exercises. It contains two press interview rooms, players' locker rooms, general purpose reception areas, a first-aid office, a weight-lifting facility, and a Cougar Club room.

Every Tuesday during the fall and winter months they have these great, uplifting devotionals from leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They are at 11am. I was very inspired!

The various choir's are wonderful the event organized however are thus far incompetent. All advertising said the doors would open at 6pm so that everyone could be seated for the 7pm performance...
