Dr Budohoski is a cerebrovascular, endovascular and skull base neurosurgeon who treats vascular and skull base pathologies through a combination of open microsurgical techniques, as well as minimally invasive approaches including endovascular techniques and endoscopic techniques. Dr Budohoski works with a multidisciplinary team that includes vascular neurologists, ENT surgeons, neuroradiologists, neuroendocrinologists and neuroophthalmologists to ensure the best patient outcomes. Conditions treated by Dr Budohoski include brain aneurysms, arteriovenous malforamtions, cavernous malformations, arteriovenous fistulas, carotid artery disease, cerebral revascularization, tumors of the anterior and lateral skull base, including vestibular schwannoma and meningioma. Dr Budohoski’s academic interests include the pathophysiology of subarachnoid hemorrhage. He focuses on identifying the molecular hallmarks of cerebral vasospasm and developing specialized brain monitoring tools to help treat patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage.

Dr. Randy Jensen specializes in Neurosurgery, Brain Tumors, Skull Base Surgery, Neuro Trauma and Neurocritical Care. He has a particular emphasis using preoperative imaging, intraoperative navigation, intraoperative cortical mapping and intraoperative MRI to maximize tumor resection and minimize surgical complications. He treats patients with malignant, benign, and metastatic brain tumors. He has many clinical trials for patients with brain tumors and has a laboratory effort examining brain tumor biology. He is also a member of the Brain Tumor Research Team at Huntsman Cancer Institute.

Dr. Shervin Rahimpour is a stereotactic and functional neurosurgeon specializing in the surgical treatment of epilepsy, movement disorders (including Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, and dystonia), chronic pain syndromes (such as trigeminal neuralgia, brachial plexus avulsion pain, and cancer-related pain), and psychiatric disorders (depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and Tourette’s syndrome). He is experienced in advanced surgical techniques, including focused ultrasound, asleep deep brain stimulation (DBS), robotic-assisted surgery, laser ablation, stereo-encephalography (SEEG), dorsal root entry zone lesioning (DREZ), and minimally invasive treatments for pain management, such as trigeminal rhizotomy, radiosurgery, and percutaneous ablations. Dr. Rahimpour’s research, supported by funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), focuses on leveraging intracranial human recordings to better understand cortical-subcortical interactions involved in neurological diseases and human behavior, with a particular emphasis on epilepsy, movement disorders, and chronic pain. Through this research, he aims to enhance clinical outcomes by improving the understanding of underlying neural mechanisms. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Colorado and completed his neurosurgical residency and fellowship training in stereotactic, functional, and epilepsy neurosurgery at Duke University. Outside of his professional activities, Dr. Rahimpour enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the outdoors, and photography.
