Bret joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in November 2018. He studied at Webster State University and holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses plus state life and health insurance. Ryan Hunt joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in April 2016, following a five-year career in the United States Army, where he attained the rank of Captain. A graduate of Northwest Nazarene University with a Master of Business Administration degree, Ryan holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses plus state life and health insurance licenses. Understanding that the single most powerful contributor to financial well-being is behavior, Ryan works closely with his clients to develop personalized financial plans that reflect their values, address their priorities and support their goals. Each plan includes recommendations for specific financial products and services to support those goals. And through ongoing planning to address changes in one's financial and personal circumstances, Ryan is ready to assist clients as they pursue their goals through a lifetime financial journey. In his free time, Ryan enjoys hunting, camping and traveling.

Stephen Thaeler joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in March 2001. He is excited about the opportunity to help people make the smart financial decisions that are essential to long-term financial security. Stephen has a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from University of Utah and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Weber State University. He also has the CFP® and ChFC® professional designations. He holds Series 6, 7, 63, 65 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in Utah. Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Stephen serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. He advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. Stephen will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals. Active in his community, Stephen is a member of the Utah Symphony's Deer Valley Music Festival, the Salt Lake YMCA, and the Utah Financial Planning Association where he recently served as the past president and chairman of the board. In his free time, Stephen enjoys football, spending time with family, and working out.
