Michael Bunting joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in March 2006, following a 23-year career in the United States Army, where he attained the rank of CSM. Michael understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping service members and their families get their financial lives squared away. A graduate of Campbell University with a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Michael holds Series 6,63,65,7, and 26 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in Utah. Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Michael serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. His thorough knowledge of military pay and benefits enables him to advise clients on how to navigate the Blended Retirement System, properly allocate their contributions to the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) and take full advantage of other benefits. Michael will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals. In his free time, Michael enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and working out. First Command Financial Services was founded in 1958 by a retired Air Force officer for the specific purpose of improving the financial well-being of military professionals and their families. Active in his community, Randall is taking great pleasure in being active in his local church where he is currently serving on two committees as well as bring a member of the Free and Accepted Masons of UT. He also enjoys being part of the Shriners of Utah where he spends his spare time giving back to his community. In addition to this he loves spending time with his family making memories with his wife and kids fishing and camping at their Montana house every spring, summer and fall. When time permits he also loves racing his motorcycle "dirt bike" in the western United States. In his free time, Randall enjoys golf, spending time with family, and spending time with friends.
