Family Support Center

The Family Support Center, also known as FSC, is an organization that provides child abuse treatment, parent advocacy and counseling services. The center has been offering respite care services since 1977. Its staff includes social workers, psychologists, and marriage and family therapists who specialize in counseling and play and talk therapies. The Family Support Center offers the Crisis Nursery program, which focuses on providing crisis intervention services to children with developmental disabilities and chronic illnesses. It conducts parenting and stress management classes, as well as offers abuse prevention education services through schools, day care centers, churches and civic organizations. The Family Support Center maintains a location in Salt Lake City.
