Michael A. Zimmerman, MD, is a transplant and hepatobiliary surgeon specializing in liver, kidney, and pancreas transplantation. His interests include clinical outcomes in solid organ abdominal transplant, and mitigating preservation and reperfusion injury in translational research. Dr. Zimmerman received his MD from the University of California at San Francisco and completed his residency at the University of Colorado. Liz is a Utah transplant from New England who recently completed residency and a Chief Resident year at the University of Utah. Her current academic interests are nursery medicine, QI, and graduate medical education. When out of the hospital, you can find her hiking with her family trying out new restaurants.
