No longer accepting new patients Dr. Diane Liu received her medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine. She then completed her residency training in Pediatrics at Kravis Children’s Hospital of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. Dr. Liu currently sees patients at University Pediatric Clinic and Sugar House Health Center. While in New York City, Dr. Liu lobbied for school-based health funding at the state level, and served as a health educator for school-based health programs in East Harlem. Dr. Liu cared for children with special health-care needs throughout the boroughs of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx. As a demonstrated leader in quality improvement and champion for value-based care, Dr. Liu supported direction of the Johns Hopkins Value Innovation Teaching and Leadership Program. Dr. Liu is the Director of the Utah Pediatric Partnership to Improve HealthCare Quality, the Chief Value Officer for the Department of Pediatrics, and the President-Elect of the University of Utah Medical Board. Dr. Liu’s clinical expertise includes preventative and acute care for infants, children, and adolescents including the promotion of vaccinations; providing comprehensive and coordinated care for NICU graduates and children with complex medical conditions; addressing mental health care in the primary care setting. Dr. Liu seeks to develop strong and lasting relationships with her patients and their caregivers. She appreciates the privilege of caring for children and values the trust from caregivers. Amir Kashani MD, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Utah School of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition and specializes in ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. His clinical interests and expertise are in inflammatory diseases of the intestinal tract that include inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease). Dr. Kashani is the co-director of the Department of Internal Medicine/ Division of Gastroenterology breath test program. Dr. Kashani received his medical degree from the Tehran University of Medical Sciences School of Medicine, and went on to complete his residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center. He completed his fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and an advanced 4th year Inflammatory Bowel Disease fellowship at Vanderbilt University.
Taumoha Ghosh

Taumoha Ghosh

Dr. Ghosh completed her medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine. She then completed her Pediatric residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center followed by a Pediatric Hematology and Oncology fellowship at the University of Minnesota. During her fellowship, she received additional training in Clinical Research through the Masters in Clinical Research program at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. She then went on to join the faculty and become a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine where she practiced for two years in pediatric oncology. Dr. Ghosh is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah and is in the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. She is a member of the Leukemia and Lymphoma team and the Oncology Lead for the Vascular Anomalies Clinic at the University of Utah and Primary Children’s Hospital. Dr. Ghosh is board-certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology and Oncology. Dr. Ghosh’s clinical interests include care of children with leukemia and lymphoma, and she is well versed in caring for children with other childhood cancers. She is also interested in the long-term effects of diagnosis and treatment of childhood cancer. Her research interests include improved care for survivors of childhood cancer, and how lifestyle characteristics can impact diagnosis and treatment of childhood cancer.
