Christopher B. Hansen, MD has specialized expertise in the evaluation and treatment of rheumatic skin diseases such as lupus erythematosus, dermatomyositis, and scleroderma. He is board certified in Dermatology. Dr. Hansens main clinical focus is the medical management of connective tissue diseases that involve the skin as well as common skin disorders such as acne, rashes, and skin cancer. Dr. Hansen runs the UVA-1 phototherapy program in the Department of Dermatology. UVA-1 phototherapy is primarily used to treat patients with sclerosing skin disorders like morphea.
