David P. Steinberg

Dr. David P. Steinberg, MD, MMM serves as the Chair of the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and the Executive Medical Director of the Craig H. Neilsen Rehabilitation Hospital. He specializes in neurorehabilitation and pain management. Dr. Steinberg has a special interest in the implementation of evidence-based initiatives to improve quality, safety, and operational performance. He is an experienced physician leader with demonstrated skilled leadership of a thriving department and medical staff. Dr. Steinberg graduated from the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine and completed his residency at Northwestern University and the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. He holds Board Certifications from the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and a sub-specialty Board Certification in Pain Management.
