Core-Mark Distributors is a subsidiary of Core-Mark International, one of the largest broad-line, full-service distributors of packaged consumer products to the convenience retail industry in North America. Founded in 1888, the company provides distribution and logistics services, as well as marketing programs to more than 20,000 retail locations in 46 states and five Canadian provinces through its 25 distribution centers. It services traditional convenience retailers; grocers; mass merchandisers; drug, liquor and specialty stores; and other stores that carry consumer packaged goods. Its facilities include consolidated warehouses called Artic Cascade and Allied Merchandising Industry. These two divisions buy products from suppliers in bulk quantities and then redistribute the products to the majority of other United States Core-Mark centers. Artic Cascade performs consolidation buying of frozen products. AMI performs consolidated buying functions of many non-food products, specifically general merchandise, and health and beauty care products. Core-Mark Distributors is located in Salt Lake City.
