Pamela Ziel is a licensed, board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner at Serenity Mental Health Centers. Pamela joined Serenity in September of 2022. She offers all her patients a cooperative and compassionate care approach. After earning her PMHNP degree at Florida International University she continued at the university to complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice in April 2020. Previously, Pamela gained valuable clinical experience practicing psychiatry at the award-winning Broward Healthcare System in Ft. Lauderdale, FL from 2018 to 2020. Pamela’s patient care philosophy involves creating an atmosphere that supports strong provider and patient relationships based on mutual respect and the desire to help improve one’s overall well-being. In her free time, Pamela enjoys camping, hiking, snowboarding, and mountain biking with her husband. Having spent most of her life at sea level, she is excited to be in Utah with all the outdoor recreation the state has to offer. Pamela’s passion for mental health started when she became a behavioral health technician at a psychiatric hospital 15 years ago. She had the opportunity to work with clients of all ages, from children to geriatrics. The experience opened her eyes to the impact poor mental health can have on an individual and their family. She also realized that no one is immune to mental health problems, and she is a firm believer that everyone deserves access to safe support and empathetic care. Pamela looks forward to providing her patients with innovative patient care and the latest evidence-based treatments for mental health services. At Serenity, she offers treatment through ketamine therapy, TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation), and medication management. She hopes to help every patient she meets with to achieve long-term relief from mental illness.

Mah Mekolle is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner currently seeing patients with Serenity Mental Health Centers. Mah joined Serenity in April of 2022. She offers over a decade of experience to her patients and an empathetic approach to patient care. Mah earned her professional degree from Maryville University of St Louis, Missouri in 2021. Beyond her education, she is a certified Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) with over seven years of experience coaching her clients on achieving mental and emotional wellbeing, and she received great praise for her work as a Health Trainer in 2020, coaching over a thousand frontline health care workers on self-care and coping with the COVID-19 crisis. She is also the editor of her online magazine and inspirational blog on mental health topics. In her free time, Mah enjoys writing and reading a good book. She also loves to learn new languages, a passion born from her childhood in Cameroon where she spoke both English and French. Her best moments are spent with her husband and two boys. Mah’s philosophy of compassionate patient care comes from over 12 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, she hopes to provide her patients with a sense of understanding in their mental health journey. At Serenity Health Centers, she treats her patients through TMS, ketamine therapy, and medication management. Mah is excited to connect with new patients as she assists them in taking back their lives from mental illness.
