HistoryFounded in 2004, Grassroots Events was created to combine two passions: trail running and guiding. Before 2004, there weren't any events catered to trail runners. That's why Grassroots Events was made: the first trail race in Moab happened in 2004. Since then, 3 more trail races have been created just for the Moab area. And now guided running tours are offered to runners of all levels.SpecialtiesGrassroots Events offers guided running tours for tourists, families, and all levels of runners who want to experience more of the beautiful trails and history of Moab. All levels of runners welcome -- all at your own pace and mileage. If you want to explore Moab's canyons, see dinosaur tracks and petroglyphs, or practice the technical terrain before an upcoming race, this is the best and most fun way to do it.
