About UsBalaguru Sambandam, MD, FACS, of North Tarrant Health Providers, is a board-certified surgeon providing elective general surgery and emergency and trauma surgery to residents of Fort Worth, Texas, and surrounding communities. Areas in which Dr. Sambandam excels include hernia repairs and other abdominal surgeries, endocrine surgery, and specialized procedures for conditions like hidradenitis.Dr. Sambandam studied at the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science (TAMS) at the University of North Texas (UNT) in Denton, Texas. Before medical school, he obtained a bachelor's degree in computer science from UT Austin.
