Woodridge Elementary

Woodridge Elementary School offers educational instruction to students in grades one through five. The school has an enrollment of more than 800 students. Its Heights Program identifies and serves students who demonstrate general intellectual ability identified by learning potential tests and behavior checklist. The school provides special programs for gifted and talented students, homeless students, bilingual students, migrant students, students with limited English proficiency, dyslexic students and students with disabilities. Its counseling department assists students with a wide range of personal concerns, in areas, such as substance abuse and social, family and emotional issues. The school s library offers a wide collection of books and other resources for teachers and students. Woodridge Elementary School is a part of the Alamo Heights Independent School District and is located in San Antonio.
