Whittington Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Patrick Whittington is a board-certified pediatric dentist who is passionate about providing a safe and fun environment for kids to receive dental care and learn about their oral health. He was born and raised in Irving, Texas. He graduated from the Plan II Honors Program at the University of Texas at Austin. After college he attended Baylor College of Dentistry, where he earned his DDS and graduated 2nd in his class. He then completed his Pediatric Dentistry Residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. There he earned his MS in Oral Sciences and was named Chief Resident. His practice philosophy is one of early prevention of dental disease through oral hygiene instruction and dietary guidance. He believes in making dental treatment as fun for kids as possible, and offers multiple levels of sedation and anesthesia to make sure that his patients have a positive experience. Dr. Whittington is married to his high school sweetheart, Ashley. They have one daughter, named Faye, and 2 dogs. In his free time Dr. Whittington enjoys running, playing golf, watching Longhorns and Cowboys football, and attending concerts. As lifelong residents of DFW, the Whittingtons have been familiar with Flower Mound for a long time. They like the family-friendly atmosphere and are excited to become part of such a vibrant and growing community!
