About Our Company West Texas Consultants, Inc, and it's predecessor firm is celebrating 62 years of providing services to West Texas. The firm provides engineering, planning and surveying services. Our firm is officed out of Andrews, Texas. We have employed Registered Professional Engineers, Registered Professional Land Surveyors and a technical support staff which utilizes the most up-to-date engineering computer hardware and software. Our technicians are well-versed in computer-aided drafting and design. Our capabilities and computer hardware and software enable us to consider numerous alternatives in a timely manner. This allows us to provide our clients the most feasible options in a cost-effective manner. Our firm maintains the most up-to-date surveying equipment. Equipment utilized by our crews include TopCon Total Stations with TDS Ranger data collectors and TopCon Hyper-Lite GPS survey equipment. This enables our firm to determine the most efficient means of collecting data and reducing to CADD format. Mr. James E. Tompkins, P.E., R.P.L.S., is C.E.O. of the firm and serves as Principle Engineer and Chief Surveyor for the Firm. Mr. Nathan Tompkins is President and manages all surveying and construction projects. Mr. Ramon V. Carrasco, P. E., is the Vice President and Engineering manager of the firm.
