Weir Minerals, located in Madison, Wis., manufactures the Warman, Galigher and ASH PUMP brand products for customers in a variety of processing industries. Its customers are involved in petroleum processing, paper, chemicals, foods, HVAC, electric power distribution and the construction. It also manufactures horizontal, vertical and submersible centrifugal slurry pumps, Warman slurry knife gate valves and Cavex classifying hydrocyclones. These brands were brought together by the acquisition of Warman International by The Weir Group PLC of Scotland in September, 1999.
