This is Fort Hood II. All I can say about Fort Hood is WOW!! Only time I've seen a base with two.. yes TWO commissaries. They stagger the days closed so that there is always at least one open....

It is cleaner and better laid out than the Clear Creek Commissary. Its only downside is that it's slightly smaller. The staff appears to be slightly better too.

This base has many visitors. So, the Commissary should have had a sign at the entrance stating that it was only open to military personnel, veterans, residents, and their families. Good selection...

Love it. Less crowded and shelves are stocked will and everything is clean . Employees are wonderful and very helpful . Have to say love the meat Dept . They were out of cubed steak but set thing...
