She then moved to St. Louis, Missouri, to complete her Internal Medicine residency at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Dr. Paruthi completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in the Texas Medical Center. In addition to this, she completed a year of fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant.
