Heart of Texas MHMR Center, located in Waco, Texas, offers a variety of support services to individuals and families suffering from mental illnesses, developmental delays and emotional conflicts. It provides various services, such as mental health case management, psychiatric and trauma care, outpatient and pharmacy services, supported housing, urgent and independent care and community treatment. Its individual care services include planning and monitoring health, community support, day habilitation, supported employment, nursing and respite care, and behavioral supports. The center additionally offers community support services, including community integration, and financial management, health maintenance and independent skills training. The organization is approved by the Texas Mental Health and Mental Retardation Act.
