Vista Camps includes Camp Rio Vista for Boys and Camp Sierra Vista for Girls offers a variety of camping and recreational activities to children. Established in 1921, Camp Rio Vista for boys is one of the oldest private summer camps in Texas. Camp Sierra Vista for Girls, its sister camp, was established in 1982. Vista Camps is located on 120 acres of land in Ingram, Texas. The camps offer various camp programs, such as aerobics, tumbling, martial arts and conditioning. It also provides creative activities, such as arts and crafts, drama, dance, journalism and photography. Vista Camps offers a variety of water activities, such as sailing and water-skiing, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, sailing, water-skiing and swimming instruction. It offers a variety of outdoor programs, such as horseback riding soccer, lacrosse and volleyball, shooting, hunter safety animal care tennis basketball and softball.

Spent the month of June at Rio Vista, two years in a row, many years ago. It was a great experience, and I would have stayed the entire summer had I been given the opportunity.
