History

In 1982 when my dad retired from the sheet metal business, he and my mother started a small business in the Historic La Villita district, just steps from the Riverwalk. He loved making stained glass and created many beautiful panels, kaleidoscopes, sun catchers and candle boxes. Their journey lasted for many years until my dad was sadly diagnosed with Alzheimer's. I took over when my parents were unable to continue and although I do not create stained glass, I continued their love of glass. I am a bead maker also know as lampworking. I have a number of local artists' work in the store now, some of which specialize in mosaic, stained glass lamps, fusing, dichroic crosses and jewelry. My studio is located in the shop and you often can find me creating my next bead there!

Everything glass! We carry a variety of handmade works from a select group of local artisans. Come experience the color and beauty of our kaleidoscopes, stained glass panels, candle boxes, jewelry boxes and more. We carry beautiful bowls, vases and trays from Italy, Poland, and Turkey as well as a large variety of paper weights. All of our items are very reasonably priced and we'd love for you to stop by!
