The Laredo Housing Authority (LHA) has been dedicated to fostering community living through affordable housing opportunities since its establishment in 1939. With a portfolio of 994 safe and decent public housing units across eight locations, LHA also administers the Housing Choice Voucher Program, assisting 1,390 families in Laredo, Zapata, and Asherton.

In addition to providing housing, LHA enhances residents' quality of life through supportive services and self-sufficiency classes, empowering individuals and families to improve their skills and knowledge.
