University Health Foundation

Mission Road Development Center has been serving adults and children with mental disorders and other developmental disabilities since 1947. It provides residential services for adults and children in cottages on a 20-acre campus. It provides training to families who provide foster care to the patients at their home. Its child placing agency and foster care program is licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. The center s home- and community-based services and waiver programs provide support and services to children and adults in their homes. Its adult day activity center helps participants in increasing basic work, related and independent living skills. It sponsors a supervised apartment program for persons with developmental disabilities who need only minimum support. Mission Road Development Center is located in San Antonio

University Health Main Campus is home to University Hospital and the Women's & Children's Hospital. Parking is available to patients and visitors in the Visitors Garage.
