Dr. Auvenshine treats patients for many primary care and sports conditions, including cold, flu, strep, preventive exams, acute and chronic conditions, ankle sprains, joint injuries, dislocations, non-surgical and stress fractures, tendonitis, concussions and more. He lives in Denton with his wife, son and daughter. In his spare time, Dr. Auvenshine enjoys golf, weight training, high school and college sports and, of course, his family.

I am a Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) licensed in Texas with several years of experience as a health care provider at various levels within an acute and family practice healthcare setting. I am passionate about the use of holistic and integrative medical therapies to address the needs of proactive healthy individuals and individuals with acute or chronic medical conditions across lifespans. I pride myself in utilizing evidence-based models to determine the underlying causes of disease and adapt treatment approaches that include FDA-approved medications, therapeutic levels of innovative IV therapies, and personalized medical weight loss strategies to restore the body to an optimally functional state.
