UMAMITA is internationally influenced, having kicks and flavors from Asia, Europe, North, Central and South America but not forgetting our Texan-Mexican culture. It is Like it's name and slogan describes it - SO GOOD. The emphasis is on organic food, locally grown and free from GMO's, hormones and antibiotics. WHY UMAMITA? The name is inspired in the term ''umami'' Umami is a Japanese term that describes a pleasant savory taste imparted by an amino acid that happens naturally in many foods including meats, fish, vegetables and dairy. It is used to describe a fifth primary taste. This additional taste is the combination of the primarily tastes; sweet sour salty and bitter.
