We were travelling through the country and one of our stops was in Bastrop, TX. We chose to stay at the Tropicana Motel. The room was decent, with comfortable beds and good cleanliness level....

Place is a dump. A/C doesn't work. Runs a few minutes and stops. Told them at the front desk. They came and fiddled and got the fan going. Stopped again a few minutes after they left. Didn't cool...

Tried to check in with a service dog, they said it didn't matter and they weren't going to take the risk. Had paperwork to show but they were unwilling and hung up.
