History

Every since I was a child I knew I wanted to be in the beauty industry. Unfortunately my family had other plans for me, and my family means the world to me, I take their advice very seriously. They obviously discouraged this. So, I joined the Army. During my contract I ended up injured and was very sadly retired. So here I am fresh civilian in 2014 not knowing what I was going to do. Again I listened to my family and worked towards a Bachelors in Biology at Incarnate Word. There I was a semester away from graduating and I was miserable. I remember sitting in a salon chair just envious. I told my stylist and she gave me the right encouragement to just go for it. Eventually you just really have to do what you love. All I knew was I did not want to wake up everyday and be miserable for the rest of my life going to a career I did not want. I followed my heart and passion and here I am. I am so happy and greatful to be able to do what I do. This isn't just a career for me its my sanctuary.

Specialties

Licensed Cosmotologist. Color correction is my biggest specialty. Color and cuts are my number one always! I am a Gk expert for their Keratin smoothing blowouts treatments.(Brazilian Blowouts) Certifications: Eyelash Extension Training Course given by: Our Beauty Connect. Learned classic and volumizing individual lash as well as cluster lash extensions. Hair Extension 101 training course given by: Our Beauty Connect . Taught how to make and install hair extensions using clips, cold fusion (micro links ) and hot keratin fusion ( I tips and u tips ) as well as tapes and sew in. Wig construction training course given by: Our beauty connect. Body Wax Essential given by:med tools. Learned to do full body waxing (including Brazilian) as well as speed waxing technique, while using Jax Wax.
