Travis Science Academy

Travis Middle School, established in 1955, is affiliated with the Temple Independent School District, a K-12 school district with more than 10 schools. It offers classes from grades six through eight. Its curriculum includes English, language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, art, music, computer technology and physical education. It provides special education programs for the gifted students. It has a parent-teacher association that involves parents in various educational activities of the school. It offers a variety of sports activities, such as football, cross-country, cheerleading, wrestling, baseball, basketball, volleyball, softball, and track and field. The school organizes a variety of events, such as Hispanic heritage week, choir spring concert and field trips. Located in Temple, Texas, it also offers cafeteria and transportation services to its students.
