About Jose Orona Life took an unexpected turn for Jose Luis Orona, Jr., when he lost his younger brother to cancer. After graduating from Texas A&M University in 2006 with an engineering degree, Jose rejected offers from several engineering firms to instead work as a Sales Professional for Family Heritage Life Insurance Company of America (FHL). "For the first time, I saw how people can lose everything they'd worked so hard to achieve when faced with things like cancer," Jose says.
