Great bbq. Not fast food. Outdoor seating. Sometimes run out of certain items. Good ice tea. Great bbq sauce. The lady at the window is sometimes grumpy, but I wouldn't want her job. It looks hot...

Posey's BBQ started at this location with just brisket and sausage in the 1970s, after 40+ years and 4 owners, The Real Pit BBQ is still making great bbq with recipes that are tried and true.
Specialties
Texas Style BBQ including brisket, sausage, turkey breast, pork loin and mouth watering ribs all smoked to perfection. Homemade potato salad, pinto beans, green beans, cole slaw and macaroni n cheese made fresh daily. Of course it's not Texas BBQ without sweet tea but we have unsweetened tea too. And don't forget dessert which is normally a sweet taste of heavenly chocolate chip pecan pie or cobbler.

Ok, brisket here is the real deal. Needs no sauce, although their homemade stuff is quite good. Perfect combination of smoke, tenderness, aroma, color and bark. Warms back up days later,...

Great BBQ!! Not a fancy BBQ place but it has the GOODs!! Definitely worth a visit and coming back!! A local recommended it and they weren't wrong... :) Brisket is 100% legit. Great flavor....

Meh, bbq brisket used in sandwich tough. Only selection of brisket & sausage. Flavor good.

Its ok not the best in the world. They were better years ago. Brisket seems really fatty and does not have a good flavor.
