1111 Rusk St Ste 172
Houston, TX 77002
The Nash, a Modern American restaurant and bar, offers diners a dynamic yet laid-back style, serving lunch, happy hour, and dinner in the heart of downtown. The handsome space is located in the historic Star, formerly known as the Texaco Building, which features an impressive floor-to-ceiling bar and open kitchen. This inviting ambiance makes for the ideal spot for happy hour, late afternoon cocktails, or dinner. The menu takes its cue from today’s dining habits – an approachable mix of cold and hot small plates, pizzas, entrées, steaks, and chops. Chef Omar Pereney has created a menu that he calls a “love letter” to American food. His take on how the modern, American menu has grown to include classics with a grown-up twist and pops of bold flavor and ingredients. It’s also a nod to Houston’s diverse and vibrant population and a crossroads of cultures. This distinctively “downtown” menu will appeal to area residents, office workers, and leisure and business travelers.

Nice place with yummy cocktails and good food. The manager and staff were very friendly. One of the staff told us about La Carafe which was really cool.
