History

Though we are a fairly new business, I ventured into cosmetic formulation over 16 years ago. After a very educational first job working for my best friend's mother's skin care company, a fire was lit. I kept my interest in skin care through high school, and while in college, I finally learned to make lotion and was hooked. I stoked that passion through research & more formulation. Since, it's been a dream to start a full-fledged business doing what I love, but the planets never seemed to align themselves properly. Until one afternoon, my sister in-law was in awe of the fact that I had created a bath bomb as a gift in my kitchen. I explained the process and my experience, and she proceeded to talk me into taking the plunge. So here we are, nearly 2 years in. Our booth is set up and farmers & artisan's markets in our area, we have an online shop, we take custom orders, wholesale orders...we even host Lab Parties where you and your friends can learn some basic formulation yourselves!

Specialties

Bath bombs, bubble bombs, beard oil, shave soap, body scrub, lip scrub, bath soaks, facial masks, lip balm, shower soothers, lotion, custom orders for special concerns, oh my. We even teach hand's on classes ( we call them Lab Parties) where we bring all the materials to you, & teach basic formulation (bath bombs, scrubs etc). Simplicity is our jam. We've taken more than 16 years of formulating experience, paired it up with our philosophy, and applied it to every. single. product. we. make. Ingredients you can't pronounce? Nah. Ingredient lists with 50 items? Nope. We've eliminated the non-essential from our products. If the product doesn't need it, or it doesn't make the product better, you won't find it on our labels. We are paraben, phthalate, formaldehyde (+ releasers), petroleum, PEG, phenoxyethanol, triclosan, sulfate, DEA, aluminum, dye and cruelty free. Each and every formula is researched for maximum efficacy and brought to life by hand in small batches. Even our packaging is chosen thoughtfully, as we strive to use as many recycled and re-purposable containers as safely possible.
