History

The catalyst of this business, was a long, windy road through Wonderland. Owner/Operator, Rachel Khorzad, began her studies in Chemistry, completing her Bachelor of Science at Texas A&M International University, and her Masters at Texas State. She worked as a research chemist for 7 years, (or potion maker if you will!) where her fascination with chemistry readily lent itself to her enthusiasm for baking. Baking ignited a fire (pun intended!) of enthusiasm within Rachel that encompassed and cultivated all of her interests and talents. Heralded by passion, like Alice's White rabbit, she decided it's never too late to alter your plans, and resolved to make a career change.
