This place used to be called Sumac Mediterranean Food, which Google says is permanently closed. As it turns out, it's not closed at all -- the owner just changed the name. The food is fantastic....

Gyro here is the best I've had In austin, it's incredible so much flavor going on. I'm Excited to try the other options on the menu.

I believe that Sumac / The Halal Price has been sold to new owners. I am so sad - I loved the chicken shwarma wrap and ate there at least once a week, sometimes more! It was my favorite chicken...
