The Collector

The Collector's chief numismatist, Danny Hall, started a career in professional numismatics in February, 1972, in a small shop in Austin, Texas. During the time of owning shops, he also made many coin shows across the nation and eventually modified the business approach to a full time schedule of shows nationwide. Recently in 2006, a quaint space "on the square" in Georgetown, TX. came available and a brick and mortar retail location evolved. The next step in building a full service numismatic business was to create this website and make available to collectors and investors a diverse selection of U.S. coins, currency, gold & silver bullion, historic documents and antiquities. The Collector is dedicated to the industry and to the collector/investor. We strive to offer the finest quality merchandise for the dollar spent and the best service and information available.
