Extended Summer Hours: M-F 9a - 6p * Last entry 3:30p * S/S 9a - 6:30p * Last entry 4:30p. Open Daily March - December. Closed Thanksgiving & Christmas. The gates to the safari drive-thru close two hours prior to closing to ensure that guests have plenty of time to explore both the drive-thru and the safari village before the park closes. The Texas Zoofari Park's 900-acres allows guests to see more than 800 animals including rhinos, bison, Grevy's and Grant's zebras, water buffalo, wildebeest, camels and a variety of antelope from the comfort of your car. Take your time as you drive along six miles of safari roads. Roll down your window and extend a bucket of feed and you’ll get a visit from many of them wanting a snack. The experience of having exotic animals or the friendliest llamas in the state of Texas, only inches away, feeding from your bucket, is virtually impossible to describe.

Cool 900 acre, 6 mile long drive through zoo out between Terrell and Kaufman. They have a lot of different animals that you can feed from a bucket. The animals will literally stick their heads...
