Daniel Gonzales-Luna, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon and an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. He specializes in orthopedic trauma with an emphasis on severe musculoskeletal injuries of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, ankle, and foot, as well as fracture nonunion and malunion. Gonzales-Luna also has significant experience in hip and knee replacement surgery for degenerative and post-traumatic arthritis. He sees patients in the Greater Houston area, and he speaks both English and Spanish.Gonzales-Luna is a native Houstonian and completed his medical degree at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, where he graduated top of his class. He also completed his residency in orthopedic surgery with McGovern Medical school. He then completed his fellowship in orthopedic trauma at the Reno Orthopedic Center.
