Taylor A Smith, MD - Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgeons

Dr. Jeff Apple is originally from Dallas, TX.He completed medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and his general surgery residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.Dr. Apple then served four years in the United States Navy where he served as a staff surgeon at the Naval Medical Center San Diego. During his time in the Navy he was deployed twice to the Persian Gulf in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.He completed his vascular surgery fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX.He is an active member of the Society of Vascular Surgery, Alpha Omega Alpha, the Society for Vascular Ultrasound and Parkland Surgical Society. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.He has received numerous teaching awards and published several papers in the field of vascular surgery.His special interests include the endovascular treatment of thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms, the treatment of varicose vein disease and catheter-based procedures for arterial disease.Prior to joining CTVS, Dr. Apple practiced with Jackson Surgical Associates in Jackson, TN.

Jeffrey S. Jobe, M.D., is a Texas native, originally from Corsicana. He received his medical degree from Texas Tech University School of Medicine and completed his General Surgery residency and his fellowship in Vascular Surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Jobe joined Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeons in 1999 after 13 years of private practice in Austin. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Jobe also holds a certificate of Special Qualifications in Vascular Surgery. Dr. Jobe specializes in Vascular Surgery. He is an active member of the American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, Texas Surgical Society and the Travis County Medical Society.

Stephen M. Settle, M.D., is originally from Wellington, Texas. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. Dr. Settle completed his General Surgery internship and residency at St. Paul Medical Center in Dallas. He completed his Vascular Surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He has practiced in Austin since 1992 and joined Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeons in 1999. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Settle also holds a certificate of Special Qualifications in Vascular Surgery. Dr. Settle specializes in all areas of Endovascular and Vascular Surgery. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, Travis County Medical Society, Surgical Society of Austin, and Texas Transplant Society. Dr. Settle has authored various articles and publications in his specialty.
