May 30, 1998 On a warm summer night in May of 98 the dream of Rhett Butler Burns came to life. Amarillo had a drive in theater again. When the gates opened cars jockeyed for the perfect spot to view the double feature. As dusk turned to night the massive screen lite up against the star filled sky Amarillo embraced the passed and brought it back to the future.
Tascosa is a modern day drive in theater with a old school retro feel. Digital picture with crisp stereo sound comes thru your car radio. The concession stand boast the largest selection with the lowest prices of any theater in town. Some specialty items include Turkey Legs and Coke Floats.

Just to let everyone know, it is CASH ONLY. We waited in line and got to the front and read it was cash only. Had to get out of line and find an ATM, and come back and get in line again. Not sure...
