Since its very first festival in 1987, SXSW has brought all eyes to quirky Austin, Texas each March to showcase up-and-coming musical talent, independent films, and innovative technology. As the SXSW events have grown, so have the crowds, and these days you are just as likely to find big-name acts, corporate sponsorships, and high-profile media events in addition to the hundreds of undiscovered bands, film-makers, and tech innovators.
